ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION

The Engineering & Construction Division is undeniably the flagship of our Group, with our forte lying in our ability to design, execute and implement simple structures to complex world-class edifices.

Nam Fatt’s Engineering & Construction Division stands eminent upon two of its landmark projects, the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) Retail Podium situated adjacent to the Kuala Lumpur Petronas Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Satellite Building situated in Sepang, Malaysia.

Through the years, the Division has successfully undertaken the construction of many other distinctive projects. Amongst them, the Kedah Cement Plant Project in Langkawi, Malaysia boasts the construction of the largest Geodesic Dome in the world whilst the Klang Valley Distribution Terminal Project in Dengkil is the largest fully-automated petroleum storage and distribution terminal in Malaysia. The new and on-going Integrated Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex in Johore Bahru, Malaysia will be the single largest customs, immigration and quarantine complex in the country upon its completion in 2005.

On an international scale, the Division’s sterling performance in the construction of the Jiangjin Bridge in China has earned us the Export Excellence Services Award (for Construction) by the Government of Malaysia.

The driving force behind the resounding success of our Engineering & Construction Division is an experienced and inspired team of engineers and construction workforce. As added support, Nam Fatt boasts of our very own in-house facilities in steel structural fabrication and erection, and in roofing and cladding solutions.

Our Steel Fabrication Division is capable of an internal production capacity of up to 18,000 metric tonnes per annum at its facility whilst our Roofing Division, backed by European mastercraftsmen and European technology, is able to produce complete range of roofing and cladding solutions ranging from steel, aluminium, copper, zinc, titanium and pure titanium, thereby carving a name for itselft in the market as a ‘true roofing specialist’.

Together, our engineering and construction force, supported by our in-house facilities has demonstrated an impressive capability to undertake complex and high-profiled projects involving the construction of diverse and multifarious buildings and infrastructure works including the highly specialised Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) contracts in the oil and gas industry.
